Over 300 OHS sophomores spent half a day on the Indian Hills Community College campus on Wednesday.
The visit was designed to provide students the opportunity to learn about 16 different options available to them. Students were welcomed on campus by Matt Thompson, vice president at Indian Hills; David Bradford, factory manager at John Deere; and Craig Ambrose, facilities manager at Cargill in Eddyville. Students then attended three sessions with 16 career options to explore, including culinary arts, welding, robotics/automation, early childhood, health, and computer science.
