In its third week, the food drive hopes to collect enough items to support the OHS Food Pantry. To date, the drive has collected 1,250 items. The pantry provides food and personal care items in backpacks for students on the weekends. Personal care items can include deodorant, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc.
The drive is sponsored by Student Council, Interact Club and Torch Club, in conjunction with Growing Wapello Together. Remember to bring donations to third period classrooms. Donations accepted through March 2.
