The OHS Interact Club is sponsoring their annual food drive October 12 - November 6. Students are to bring items to their third period class for collection. All collected food stays in Wapello County to support local food pantries.Prizes will be given to the classes who collect the most items. Several items will be worth double points during the drive, including:
- Week 1 (October 12-November 6)- Macaroni and Cheese
- Week 2 (October 19-23)- Green Beans
- Week 3 (October 26-30)- Canned Soups/Tuna Helper
- Week 4 (November 2-6)- Canned Chicken or Tuna
"Our goal this year is to reach 15,000 cans!" said Kami Millikin, Interact Club sponsor. "Please help us make this goal a reality for our food pantries around Ottumwa."
