Advanced Metals students at Ottumwa High School will host a media day on Thursday, May 26 during all three lunches (11-12:30). Students will be showcasing the projects that they recently entered in the Industrial Arts Expo held at Southeast Polk High School on May 13.
Students who had projects place at the Expo include:

- Bradley Bramschreiber- Silver Medal for Mini Bucket Roadster (Advanced Metals)
- Keaton Gorden- Gold Medal for Dune buggy (Advanced Metals)
- Tucker Shepard- Gold Medal for Mini Chopper (Advanced Metals)
- Logan Ancell, Dylan Clark, Keeton Fleener, Dylan Hecker- White ribbon for group fixture project (Fixture Welding)
- Dylan Cochell- Blue Ribbon and a silver medal for mechanical drawing project (Drafting)
- Miguel Barsenas Ovando- Blue Ribbon and a gold medal for 3D printing project (Drafting)
- Drake Livingston- Blue Ribbon and a gold medal for architect house plans (Architecture)
- Bryon Cordova- Blue Ribbon and a silver medal for architect house plans (Architecture)
- Jim Kellner- Blue Ribbon and a Bronze medal for architect house plans (Architecture)
- Elijah Albertson, Tyler Bailey, Cameron Lobaugh- Blue Ribbons and gold medals for outstanding group project (Electricity)
