2014-15 officers
The Ottumwa High School Broadway Bulldogs held their annual banquet recently and inducted eight new thespians into the chapter. New inductees are: Brandon Hankins, Kate Martin, Breanna Kellar, Briar Kellar, Dylan Miller, Jessica Horvath, Brittany Kirkman, and Bret Doud.
Several awards were also given during the banquet, including:
- Ottumwa Community Players Scholarship Award: Courtney Burgess
- Best Actor - The Girl Who Was Asked to Turn Blue: Lindzey Rivera
- Best Actor - More Perfect Union : Leilah Armstrong
- Student Choice Awards for Grease
- Best Crew Person: Lindzey Rivera as Stage Manager
- Best Understudy: Lazaro Nunez as Roger
- Best Ensemble Person: Asa Robinson
- Best Actor in a Minor Role: Chris Caldwell as Teen Angel
- Best Actor in a Lead Role: Nathan Leege as Roger
- Tech Director Award: Briar Kellar and Elynna Perry
- Director’s Choice Award for Best Actor: Nathan Leege as Roger
- Most Improved Actor: Bret Doud
New Thespian Officers for 2014-2015 are Jordan Young, president; Kate Martin, vice president; Mallorie Gray, secretary; Jessica Horvath, treasurer; and Paul Cartwright, clerk/historian.
