Milani Earns Scholarship at Tech Competition

OTTUMWA— OHS senior, James Milani, earned first place (gold) and a $500 scholarship for his bale feeder and spare tire rack during recent competition at the state level Industrial Tech Expo. Several OHS students enrolled in metals class competed in the competition. Other project winners included:

  • Chance Courtney - 2nd place in the high mileage competition with 222 gallons per mile
  • Bryar Bell - earned 18th place in the high mileage with 79 gallons per mile
  • Chris Pilcher - Silver for a welding project
  • Kyle Courtney -  Gold for engine work.
  • Kyle Courtney - Silver for drafting Project

OHS also displayed a cabinet project and as a school earned gold.
