Greetings Olivia Park Families!

My name is Heather Smith and I am excited to say that this is my 20th year of teaching!  I taught for 2 years at Challenger Elementary in 2nd Grade and then to Olivia Park when I have been since.  At Olivia Park I have had the pleasure of teaching 1st grade and being an Instructional Specialist and Mentor.  This year finds me back in First Grade and looking forward to working alongside families as we all navigate this new way of learning. 

My favorite place at our school is the wonderful Olivia Park Garden!  It is such an amazing place to learn, work alongside families in our community, and to eat some delicious healthy food. We are so fortunate to have this amazing space for our students to learn and to be a part of.   

I live in Everett with my husband, Alvin III and my son Alvin IV.  That's right, they have the same name!  We love to spending time together going for hikes and walks, working on projects together, and exploring. 

Although we will begin this year virtually, I look forward to learning in unique ways and doing our best to help each other through this year.
