View the portal with your student, so they can explain and provide more information about their assignments and progress.
Students should be encouraged to reach out to teachers before parents reach out to teachers. Parents should contact teachers with assignment questions only after first talking with your child and then having your child contact the teacher directly.
The portal will not be updated daily and may not be updated weekly. Checking the portal too often is likely to be stressful for students.
If students have missing assignments, their grades are not reflective of their overall performance.
At the beginning of the trimester when there are a small number of assignments in the gradebook, each assignment will make a significant difference in the overall grade.
Assignment comments are visible by opening an individual assignment in the gradebook.
