Students should understand each teacher’s grading policy and their gradebook practices.
Gradebooks are not updated every day, so students should not check the portal every day.
Assignment comments are visible by opening an individual assignment in the gradebook.
Student should contact teachers in person or through email, if they have any questions about their assignments or grades.
Students should sit down with their parent periodically to review assignments and progress.
If students have missing assignments, their grades are not reflective of their overall performance.
At the beginning of the trimester when there are a small number of assignments in the gradebook, each assignment will make a significant difference in the overall grade.
