MATH 6

Math 6 covers the most essential standards of the California Common Core math standards for sixth grade. Students can find everything they need in Google Classroom. This is also where assignments will be posted and submitted once completed. Grading is based on work in class (actual work, cooperation, focus, and use of time), homework, and assessments.

To help parents stay in touch about what's happening in Math 6, I write a regular blog called the Sine-Post. Parents will receive this via ParentSquare.

MATH 6 WORKSHOP

Math 6 Workshop is designed to provide extra conceptual understanding, practice, and time in a small and supportive setting for select students who are also taking Math 6. Students can find everything they need about this course in Google Classroom.

DIGITAL MEDIA 2

Digital Media 2 is an elective that builds on the approach and material covered in the sixth grade Wheel class. There are two sections of Digital Media 2. Each section will spend an equal amount of time with me in the part called Digital Media 2 Lab and with Mr. Wien in the part called Digital Media 2 Engineering. My section focuses on topics such as spreadsheets, movie creation and editing, audio recording, and 2D and 3D design. 

Students can find everything they need in Google Classroom. This is also where all assignments will be posted and submitted once completed. Grading is based on completed work in class, cooperation and use of time, and completed projects.
