  • ADHD 101: A 3-Part Series with Dr. Dale Wisely

     

    For many years, says Dr. Dale Wisely, who is approaching his 40th year as a licensed clinical psychologist, has offered his three-part series on ADHD. “A great blessing in the lives of those with ADHD,” says Dr. Wisely, “is to have loved ones who truly understand the disorder. Sadly, many suffer needlessly because of a lack of understanding of these complex disorders.”  All are invited to this series.

    Dale Wisely Ph.D. is Director of Family Life and Adult Education at Prince of Peace Catholic Church & School in Hoover, Alabama. He serves as the part-time Executive Director of All In Mountain Brook, a non-profit organization that offers programs designed to help protect and enhance the lives of youth. Prior to joining Prince of Peace, he was Director of Student Services and Community Education at Mountain Brook Schools He has been a child and adolescent clinical psychologist for 39 years. Dr. Wisely’s M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in clinical psychology are from the University of Memphis. He served his clinical internship at West Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Behavioral Medicine in Charleston. He also earned a Master’s in Theological Studies from Spring Hill College, a Jesuit college in Mobile, Alabama. Dr. Wisely is a popular adult educator and speaker on family matters, parenting, and provides workshops and other professional development to a range of professional and public audiences.
