School Nutrition

The MGSD School Nutrition Department is committed to ensuring your child receives a nutritious breakfast and lunch in the cafeteria daily.  A breakfast plate is made up of two breads or a bread and a meat, one fruit/juice, and milk.  Lunch consists of a protein, grain, fruit, vegetable, and milk.  The School Nutrition department has attempted to lower the fat, sugar and sodium in the meals that they provide.  Menus may be found in the local newspaper or online.  Nutritional information is also available from the online menus.

Important Information for Parents

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
