Read to Achieve
Read to Achieve is a part of the Excellent Schools Act that passed into NC law in July 2012 and went into effect for all schools during the 2013-2014 school year. The goal of Read to Achieve is to ensure that every student can read at or above grade level by the end of third grade and will continue to progress in reading proficiency so that he or she is prepared for secondary education and career success.
