Testing and Accountability
The Mooresville Graded School District's Testing and Accountability Department supports all district schools and staff in organizing state and local assessments and reporting results. The ubiquitous use of data to differentiate instruction and reach every child, every day undergirds the work of the testing director via training to school staff.
Behind every number is a child.
This work includes training on development and use of formative assessments, analysis of assessment data, as well as administration and use of results from summative state tests. Ethical use of assessment products and results are further components of accountability and testing.
