The TN Promise is a 2-year scholarship covering tuition for a community college or Technical School in Tennessee. To receive the scholarship, you don't need an ACT score or a certain gpa, but you do need to graduate high school! The deadline to register is November 1st, but once the deadline has passed ............ it is too late!
rEGISTRATING FOR THE TN PROMISE
Here is how to apply:

Go toTSAC Student Portal.

Select the Create a Log-In button. (you may need to scroll down to find the button)

Once an account has been created, LOG-IN to your new account.

Select APPLY in the upper left corner.

Scroll down and select The Tennessee PROMISE SCHOLARSHIP 2024-2025.

Complete application and select SUBMIT.

TN PROMISE CHECK LIST
Apply to the Tennessee Promise program at tnpromise.gov by November 1
Complete FAFSA at studentaid.gov by March 1 Link: FAFSA® Applicatin | Federal Student Aid
Attend mandatory meeting as coordinated by a partnering organization
Complete and submit 8 hours of community service by July 1 (coordinated by partnering organization)

TN Promise Eligible Post-Secondary Institutions
The colleges listed below are considered eligible for TN Promise funding. TN Promise acts as a last-dollar scholarship at Tennessee community colleges and colleges of applied technology. Some four-year colleges are eligible for TN Promise funding; however, they have a different funding model. Please see the verbiage at the bottom of this page for a full explanation of TN Promise funding at eligible four-year colleges.
