My favorite thing to do is spend time with my awesome husband, Mark, and my family! I have three kind and helpful sons, one best friend daughter, one wonderful son-in-law, and three fun loving daughter-in-laws. I also have three handsome grandsons, who are a complete joy. I love to spend time outdoors either walking, working, or just relaxing. I am most happy on any coast or at Bear Lake. I also love to shop, boat, and hang out with our dogs. I am known as a lover of dark chocolate, sunflower seeds, and popcorn. I love teaching (especially math because it is like playing a game). I feel blessed to have had so many fifth-grade students enrich my life by adding joy and laughter to my days. My advice is always: Be Good! Have Fun!

My husband Randy and I have 5 children and family is very important to me. I LOVE to sing and sing just about everywhere.  I am the person you see singing along to the radio in their car, I sing while I cook, and I sing in class.  I enjoy reading, creating, and playing sports especially ultimate Frisbee and volleyball. I am an adventurous person and a small thrill seeker, meaning I really like roller coasters.  I also like to camp and hike. Traveling is a favorite pastime of mine. It gives me an opportunity to see and learn about new places and people.  

I graduated from USU in 2003. This is my ninth year teaching. I have taught in Cache and Washington County school districts. I love to see people learn, I find it exhilarating.  My favorite part of teaching is seeing that moment when the switch flips and the light bulb goes on.  Then you know that knowledge is being created. My dream for my students is for them to learn to love learning.
