Canyon Elementary
School Community Council
The Canyon Elementary School Community Council composed of parents and school staff works diligently to develop and approve the School Land Trust plan and to monitor implementation of Land Trust funds. Our school received $99,059.09 this year from the Utah School Land Trust to help us improve all areas of the school including paraprofessional support and purchasing chromebooks to increase student technology access with the common goal of improving student achievement and success. Additionally the school community council discusses school safety and other issues pertaining to school climate and student success.
Training Meeting Opportunity: If you are new to the council or would like a refresher you may plan to attend a virtual training session being held on Tuesday, October 4th at 6pm. A meeting link will be available upon request.
