The vision of the La Porte ISD Teaching & Learning Department is to support environments that inspire, challenge, and engage all students through relevant and authentic learning experiences.
Our students will use the knowledge, concepts, content, and skills they attain in such a way that they are able to easily apply their learning to be successful in their future. Every students' success is our number one priority!
Many La Porte ISD residents were affected by strong storms that passed through our area on Thursday evening. Because our priority lies with our families, we are canceling school on Friday, May 17. We will return on Monday, May 20.
With an amazing 2024-25 school year just around the corner, we want to make sure that all of our families are prepared before school starts. We are looking forward to seeing you back on campus! Please make sure to complete the Online Required Annual Student Update. This is required for all current students in La Porte ISD to ensure each student has a schedule and teachers assigned prior to the first day of school.
