Debt Transparency
The La Porte ISD Business Office is responsible for preparing financial reports and debt information that promote transparency and accountability. The information below shows debt obligation as of June 30, 2023. Data for the prior school year is posted at the conclusion of the annual financial audit, which is approved by the Board of Trustees at the November board meeting.
Many La Porte ISD residents were affected by strong storms that passed through our area on Thursday evening. Because our priority lies with our families, we are canceling school on Friday, May 17. We will return on Monday, May 20.
With an amazing 2024-25 school year just around the corner, we want to make sure that all of our families are prepared before school starts. We are looking forward to seeing you back on campus! Please make sure to complete the Online Required Annual Student Update. This is required for all current students in La Porte ISD to ensure each student has a schedule and teachers assigned prior to the first day of school.
