Mission

Our mission is to educate, support, and engage our staff, families, and students on topics and issues of culture, race, and social justice. We strive to provide ongoing programs that focus on academic success, student/staff development, advocacy, and community outreach.

Families & Students

Connect and build relationships with students and families to increase involvement and engagement with schools.

Promote academic success and leadership through programming.

Provide strategies for navigating conflict and supporting understanding of cultural diversity.

Serve as an advocate for students and families.

Conduct needs assessments and programmatic evaluations.

District and School

With focuses on culturally responsive practices, cultural humility, and social justice:

facilitate relevant district-wide education and dialogue around issues of educational equity,

provide policy & systems guidance, curricular tools, community connections, and resources,

collaborate with schools and building teams, and

develop strategies for sustaining financial and human resources for ongoing initiatives.

Support efforts to recruit and retain a demographically representative staff.

    Community Engagement

    Build student programming to facilitate active community engagement, inclusive youth leadership, empowerment, and social justice involvement.

    Support and partner with local community groups that enhance and promote equitable youth outcomes.

    Maintain a network of relevant regional, statewide, and national organizations that support aligning educational equity goals.
