Ms. Karine Armen
Karine Amen has been a teacher at GUSD since July 1, 1991. She has taught different grade levels, including Transitional Kindergarten up to third grade. She started teaching at R.D. White in August of 2018.
Ms. Armen has an M.A. in Educational Administration and a B.A. in social work and photography. She has had several photography exhibitions. She is fluent in English, Armenian, Farsi, and Spanish. She has a knowledge of Italian. She loves traveling and is learning about different cultures. She loves working with children and has a passion for teaching.
On July 4th and 5th she conducted two webinars with teachers and psychologists in Armenia about Social Emotional Learning.
