Hi Everyone!!
So glad you are visiting my page because that means you are relatively healthy.
Lots of questions have been floating around. Lots of answers have been given.
What we do know:
1) This week you can come in to pick up your books and supplies
2) If you completed the Technology survey and need to check out some equipment you can pick that up on Friday.
(See previous email from our principal for the schedule of these times.
3) At this time we are expecting regular classes to resume May 5, 2020
4) If you are anything like me and you have been staying home I am ready to escape!!! I am bored, I miss my friends, and my sleep schedule has nearly flip-flopped.
We have had a week off and anyone who works out can tell you that too much time off is a bad thing. To a very real extent returning to a typical schedule be helpful and actually healthy. So stop playing video games until 4:00 am!
We will be having activities and I will be sharing news and such with you.
Things I wat to share:
I do plan on using Google Classroom to share concepts and activities so please take time to log in and see what is going on Starting next Monday 3/30. Please make sure you check the Google Classroom on Monday 3/30 at the time your class would normally start.
Google Classroom Codes: (Updated Information)
I am not sure if it was one CV teachers chats or where exactly it was but there have been reports of Video chats being hacked on Google Meet. In order to provide a safe learning environment for your student, class codes have been removed. If you need them please email me.
In connection with this All links to video chats will be removed. Instead tomorrow I will share a prerecorded session with information. I am reevaluating how to proceed with this in the future. Ideas I am considering are using a different platform and likely once everyone has checked in on a video chat I may go to an "Office hours" model rather than a small group model.
