Safety and Security:

Safety and security for all staff and students on campus is a priority. All gates on the playground are kept locked during school hours. A visitor’s pass and a current sign-in are required for all those visiting the school and entering the classroom between the hours of 7:30a.m. – 4:00 p.m. District workmen and all personnel must wear a picture identification badge or the visitor’s pass.

Medication:

Students needing medication during the school day are required to have written permission from a parent/guardian AND a doctor documented on the “Request for Medication To Be Taken During School Hours” form, which is available in the front office. Students may not have medication with them at any time and WILL NOT be given any medication by the school staff that is not documented with this form. Parents who do not have this form filled out by a doctor and still wish for their child to take medication during the school day may come to school and administer it to their own child in the nurse's office.
