Non-traditional students are defined as either a female student interested in pursuing a career in a field that is generally male-dominated, or a male student interested in pursuing a career in a field that is generally female-dominated.
As a Career & Technical Education institution, A.W. Beattie Career Center offers all of its students a variety of unique educational opportunities. One such opportunity is the Non-Traditional Students program. Through this program, students who are considered "Non-Traditional" are offered career and classroom support and free tools and equipment in the following programs:
