Qualified Students in Early Childhood Education experience the opportunity to apply their child development and teaching skills daily, working with children in the on-site Kiddie Tech Child Care Center. In addition to a variety of classroom activities, students learn hands-on with infants, toddlers, and preschool age children.
Students present a series of learning and developmental activities in the child care facility, practicing and refining their creative teaching skills, as well as learning the basics in caring for and managing children. In partnership with Junior Achievement, students have the opportunity to teach in classrooms in local school districts.
