Mr. Galloway becomes Carpentry and Building Construction instructor

Congratulations to Mr. Cameron Galloway who is now a Carpentry and Building Construction instructor at A.W. Beattie Career Center!

Mr. Galloway attended Avonworth High School and A.W. Beattie Career Center for Carpentry and Building Construction.

He has been working in the construction field for seven years and has been the CBC Instructional Assistant for the past three years while also working weeknights and weekends for a company to continue acquiring field knowledge.

“I decided to pursue a career in the construction field because I grew up watching and helping my pap with construction,” he said. “Joining Beattie really made me love what I was doing even more. I love to work with my hands, and I love seeing the finished product of what you created.”

Mr. Galloway is looking forward to passing on his knowledge to the next generation of students.

“I am excited to be an Instructor because I once attended school here,” he said. “I want to help every student to the best of my ability so that they gain the knowledge necessary to further their careers.”
