Mr. Bennett becomes Automotive Technology instructor
Congratulations to Mr. Rick Bennett who is now an Automotive Technology instructor!
Mr. Bennett attended WyoTech and has worked for 19 years in the Automotive field, most recently as an instructional assistant last year at the Career Center.
He was inspired to work in the Automotive field because of his father who has a collection of antique vehicles. He grew up helping his father in the garage and at the racetrack and still spends a lot of time at sports car tracks, drag strips, and working on cars for fun.
“I thoroughly enjoy working on cars because it allows me to merge my fascination for automobiles with the satisfaction of turning complex machinery into smoothly running systems, all while continuously honing my problem-solving abilities,” Mr. Bennett said.
He is already enjoying his new role at the Career Center.
“I am passionate about teaching students about automotive mechanics because I believe empowering the next generation with practical skills not only fosters a sense of accomplishment but also prepares them for real-world challenges, instilling confidence and a lifelong curiosity for understanding the mechanics that drive the world around us,” he said.
