Mr. Baxter, Mr. Bresch recognized for years of service to students

Congratulations to Mr. John Baxter and Mr. Mike Bresch who were A.W. Beattie’s 2024 National Technical Honor Society Honorees!

And, most importantly, thank you to each of them for their years of dedication to serving students to provide the best educational experiences possible.

Mr. Baxter has been a school counselor at Fox Chapel Area School District for 22 years and has also been involved for years in student extracurricular activities. His mentorship and leadership have impacted many students in not only their day-to-day lives but also their futures as professionals and active members of society.

Mr. Bresch was an employee of A.W. Beattie for several decades and most recently served as the Director of Building and Grounds. He played an integral role in not only the day-to-day operations of the Career Center but also led several remodeling projects of class and lab spaces to introduce new program opportunities to students in our communities. He also mentored student interns during summer employment.
