Looking Ahead: 2020-21 Student Forms and Technology Survey

Dear Students and Parents, 

First and foremost, I hope that each of your families are well during these continued times of uncertainty.  As we move closer to the start of instructional activities in August, we are asking for your assistance in our preparations.  Enclosed is a copy of the 2020 – 2021 Student Handbook, along with a set of student forms and a student technology survey, that we kindly ask each family to fill out and return to us in the self-addressed, stamped envelope that is supplied.

The Career Center continues to work with the participating school districts on our Phase Re-opening Health and Safety Plan for the 2020 – 2021 school term.  This plan will serve as a guide for allowing in-person instruction and student engagement in the in-demand college and career ready programs offered through A.W. Beattie.  Our plan will allow for safe operations and student learning along with student and staff wellness in an appropriate and equitable manner.  As our plan is being developed, please realize this will be a working document that will be subject to change as the COVID-19 situation evolves.  During this plan development timeframe, we continue to receive guidance through the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Allegheny County Health Department. 

The continued understanding and support from our families is appreciated as we work to develop our implementation plan to meet the needs for our students and staff.  Please continue to refer to the Career Center website at www.beattietech.com [CONTENT_REVIEW InternalLink] for additional information throughout July and August.
