Carpentry and Building Construction students visit Resnick Roofing
A.W. Beattie Carpentry and Building Construction students recently went on a field trip to Resnick Roofing in Gibsonia.
Adam Resnick, President of the company, and his team rolled out the red carpet for students. They provided an amazing breakfast and lunch, gave demonstrations to the students, and brought in representatives from GAF Roofing to teach students about common roofing mistakes and proper ventilation.
Finally, Adam Resnick ended the day with a Kahoot quiz, which had questions about what the students learned throughout the day. The winning student was awarded with two Pittsburgh Penguins tickets!
"Adam is an amazing asset to our students and career center," Building Construction instructor Mr. John Brown said. "He currently employees one Beattie grad and has one of our current students on Co-Op. He is very active on our Advisory Board and always has a table at our job fair."
