8 students compete in SkillsUSA Nationals
Congratulations to all of our SkillsUSA National competitors!
One of our teams - Career Pathways Showcase: Arts and Communications - placed second in the country and earned silver medals. This team's members were Mia Burnett (Avonworth), Nicholas Schultz (North Hills), and Primrose Sobeck (Northgate). They earned the SkillsUSA Pennsylvania championship.
Several other teams and individuals also earned state championships and competed at SkillsUSA Nationals. They were:
- Career Pathways Showcase: Industrial & Engineering Technology team - Keifer Carroll (Avonworth), Alijah Christner (Pine-Richland), and Austin Kessler (North Hills)
- Cosmetology - Halle O'Neill (Shaler Area)
- Pin Design - Greyson Treater (North Allegheny)
