2021 Carpentry Senior of the Year to work at Creaturo Contracting

Congratulations to Deer Lakes’ Anthony Creaturo who was named the 2021 Senior of the Year in A.W. Beattie’s Carpentry program!

Anthony first took an interest in the trades because his dad is a contractor and owns Creaturo Contracting.

"I actually work a lot with him, and I figured this would help me learn a lot," Anthony said. "I put a lot of windows in so it's more Carpentry related. I really wanted more knowledge for what I want to do in my career. I learned how to frame a wall here and things like that have helped me a lot. Plus, the teachers are all just great people."

Anthony hopes to one day take over the third generation family business.

"It'd be great to build off of what my dad and grandfather did and make the business bigger," Anthony said. "I want to keep the family name going and hopefully give it to my kid one day."
