About School 3
School 3 is a Pre-K–5 elementary school serving approximately 270 students with a dedicated staff of 28 teachers. The school offers a range of educational programs designed to meet the diverse needs of our students across thirteen general education classes and two resource room programs.
Daily instruction challenges students to think critically, explore concepts in depth, and take an active role in their learning. Students are encouraged to express their ideas, make thoughtful choices, and engage meaningfully in the learning process.
Students in Grades 4 and 5 have the opportunity to participate in the arts by learning a band or string instrument or performing in chorus. In addition, all students receive instruction in art, music, physical education, health education, and world language, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience that nurtures creativity, wellness, and global awareness.
School 3 proudly participates in the New Jersey Positive Behavior Support in Schools (NJ PBSIS) district-wide initiative, implementing a multi-tiered system of support focused on behavior, conduct, and social-emotional wellness. This initiative promotes equity for all students and fosters a safe, supportive environment that encourages success and collaboration in achieving positive student outcomes.
Our school is also fortunate to have an active and dedicated Home and School Association (H.S.A.). Through fundraising, the H.S.A. plays a vital role in organizing and promoting events such as Trunk or Treat, Book Fairs, and many other engaging activities and celebrations that enrich our school community.
At School 3, we are committed to providing an exceptional education for every student. Through our comprehensive programs, diverse curriculum, and meaningful learning experiences, we prepare students to become independent thinkers, responsible decision-makers, and productive citizens in today’s ever-changing world.
