Located in the Middle Village section of Clifton, directly across from Christopher Columbus Middle School and Clifton Stadium, School 1 proudly serves a diverse community of 254 students. Our caring and dedicated teachers are committed to fostering the social, emotional, and academic growth of every student. School 1 offers a variety of programs designed to enrich the educational experience while promoting social awareness, respect, and a strong sense of community. These include, but are not limited to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and a rigorous Talented and Gifted (TAG) academic curriculum. At School 1, students have many opportunities to develop a true sense of pride and belonging. Our mission is to help our students develop into critical thinkers capable of making a positive impact on the world around them.  Our motto is, Together WE… S.O.A.R. as ONE because we pledge to remain Safe, Open Minded, Ambitious and Respectful as we navigate the educational experience together.
