Title I

Title I is a federally funded program under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) designed to support schools in meeting the academic needs of students. The program provides financial assistance and sets programmatic guidelines to help ensure that all children—regardless of economic background—have a fair, equal, and meaningful opportunity to receive a high-quality education and achieve proficiency on challenging state academic standards and assessments. Districts that receive Title I, Part A funds are required to establish clear expectations for parental involvement. Below are links to communications from Clifton Public Schools outlining our commitment to engaging families in their child’s education.
