School 13 stands proudly in the heart of Clifton’s Athenia section, serving our community for more than a century. As a magnet school for Spanish and Turkish programs and a leader in Bilingual/ESL education, we welcome over 430 students who represent cultures from around the world. Our building may be historic, but our spirit is vibrant and forward-thinking! We celebrate diversity every day and nurture a school culture where every student feels seen, supported, and inspired. Our long-standing Positive Behavior Support in Schools (PBSIS) program is at the heart of who we are, guiding our students to live by our three universal expectations—Kindness, Respect, and Safety—as proud Junior Mustangs.
At School 13, our teachers bring passion, creativity, and care to every classroom. They challenge students to think critically, dream big, and lead with empathy. We believe that learning flourishes in an environment built on connection and trust, and we take pride in the strong sense of family and community that defines us. With the support of our dedicated PTA, families and staff work hand in hand to create joyful experiences that make School 13 a truly special place to learn and grow.
