I grew up in Blowing Rock, NC. I do not have any biological children and therefore all the students I teach are "my" children.

I attended Appalachian State University for my Bacholer of Science degree in Physical Education and Health. Before coming to Caldwell County, I taught at St. Leo's Catholic School in Winston Salem. My first position in Caldwell County I taught remediation at Gamewell Middle and Elementary Schools. The following year I transferred to Kings Creek School and found my home. I love this school and community!!
