I currently teach art at Kings Creek and Collettsville.I have lived in Kings Creek most of my life. I attended Kings Creek, Hibriten, and CCC&TI. I have an Associates Degree in Advertising and Graphic Design from CPCC, a BS in Housing and Interior Design from UNC-G, and a BS in Art Education from ASU. I have one daughter, Sarah, who is a wonderful artist! Sarah was also a student at Kings Creek, Hibriten and CCC&TI. She will be attending Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. I love teaching art, but when I am at home my favorite thing to do is walk around the farm with my dogs and hike the mountains. Family is very important to me and I love to listen to stories my parents tell about their lives and experiences and about my ancestors. I am lucky to live in Caldwell County where there is a wealth of art, music, history and natural beauty.
