Hi! My name is Kirsten James. I am from Lenoir, NC and I grew up attending Caldwell County Schools.  Previously, I worked in Burke County as a 7th grade math and social studies teacher.  I earned a bachelor's of science degree in middle grades education as well as a master's of library science from Appalachian State University.  I truly enjoy working with students and sharing the love of reading with them.  In my spare time, I like to spend time with family and friends, travel, and read.
