I was a Teaching Fellow at the University of NC at Asheville where I earned a History degree and teaching certificate in 1996. I taught sixth grade ELA/SS for six years at East Burke Middle School, then seventh grade ELA/SS for 19 years at Hudson Middle School. I earned a Masters Degree in Middle Grades Education with a concentration in English from Appalachian State University in 2006. I earned an Administrative add-on license in 2021 from Western Carolina. I also joined the Wildcat family in 2021. I love being at William Lenoir. I am excited to work with our students, faculty and families this school year.
