William Lenoir Middle

My name is JC Hollowell, but students know me as Mr. J. I am the Health Science teacher here at WLMS, and I can say I am beyond excited about teaching your student in the exploration of healthcare and human anatomy and physiology. I have spent the last 5 years working in the private sector as a licensed healthcare provider. My healthcare credentials include, North Carolina state licensed athletic trainer (LAT), national board of certification certified athletic trainer (ATC), American Heart Association certified BLS instructor, North Carolina state certified emergency medical technician (EMT). I was an Athletic Trainer for UNC Healthcare, and was placed in the clinic at Hibriten High School. Afterwards, I spent time working in an Orthopedic office as an Athletic Trainer. I also have time in Emergency Services. I spent 8 years as a Firefighter and EMT, both voluntary and paid. I have enjoyed all my experiences, and I look forward to being able to pass the torch on to the next generation of caregivers.
