Mr. Pickètt is an educator in the Caldwell County School system. He began his teaching career as an Exceptional Children’s teacher. He has taught all three grades of middle school. He presently teaches seventh grade Social Studies

Mr.Pickètt is a product of the Diocese of Raleigh Catholic Schools and the Cumberland County School System. He holds a Master Degree of Arts from Appalachian State University in Middle Grades Education (GO MOUNTAINEERS!) and a Bachelor of Arts from Fayetteville State University in Social Studies (BRONCO PRIDE IS WORLDWIDE).

Mr. Pickètt is married to the former Deboriah Boyce and has been for 29 years. They have one daughter, one son, and four grandchildren.
