After graduating from Appalachian State University in 2009 with a degree in Elementary Education, I began my teaching journey. Over the past 15 years, I have taught grades K-12 in some capacity in Caldwell County. I started out substituting, which led me to become the NCVPS liaison at CASA. From there, my journey led me to the Patterson Science Center where I taught Science and STEM to K-8 students.  From 2013-2022,  I taught math, science, language arts, and social studies across all middle school grade levels at Gamewell Middle School, where I was Teacher of the Year for 2021-2022! I started my journey as a Viking in 2022 and am excited to continue teaching at the Creek!
