Mr. Redmond

My name is Mr. Redmond.  I have taught in Cabarrus County Schools first at Northwest Cabarrus High School and thereafter within the History Department at Cox Mill High School since the High School opened in the Fall of 2009.  Before entering the teaching profession I attended the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, wherein I earned 2 undergraduate and a graduate degree.  I have a B.A. in Political Science, B.A. in History and Masters in Social Studies Education.
   I am a Native of North Carolina, however as I love to travel I have had the opportunity to visit 45 of the 50 states within our country and 27 countries as well.  I have lived in the Piedmont and Coastal Plain of N.C., as well as the American Southwest within the City of Las Vegas Nevada.  
   Currently for recreation I enjoy making ceramics, hiking, and other outdoor activities.   I look forward to having a great year and hopefully this year will be the best yet!
