  • About Me

Welcome to my page! My name is Carly Coccaro and I am a graduate of Western Carolina University with degrees in both History and Social Science Secondary Education.  I have been teaching at Cox Mill High School since the spring of 2019 and I am so excited to be a Charger again (CMHS is my Alma Mater!)! I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA (Go Steelers!), but I grew up in Concord, NC.  Yes, I have always been a history nerd.  In fact, whenever I was a child and someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I often said an "Egyptologist" or a historian that studies ancient Egypt.  I am so grateful to have to opportunity to teach my passion!
