I was born in North Carolina, but have lived in Georgia, Texas and Oklahoma as well as North Carolina.  Teaching is my second career.  I have a degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech, and for five years I worked in Telecom in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  I stayed home with my children and when my youngest went to kindergarten I decided to go back to school too.

 

I love teaching, and I especially love math.  It is my goal to introduce students to a math class that can not only be tolerable, but fun and relevant to their lives.  I also want to introduce students to potential careers in the math and science fields. 

 

This semester my schedule is:

1st period - planning

2nd period - Math 3

3rd period - BC Calculus

4th period - Honors Math 3
