Welcome to 4th grade!  I am so excited to have you in my class.  I went to Mount Pleasant myself (Go Tigers!) and graduated in 2005.  I went to college at UNC Charlotte and graduated in 2009. This is my 14th year teaching. I have taught 8 years at the middle school level and this is my 6th in elementary.  I completed my student teaching at MPES and taught here for a few years before trying out middle school.  Now I am thrilled to be back :).  I am licensed as a K-6 teacher, licensed to teach English as a second language to grades K-12, won teacher of the year in 2018 & was a top 5 finalist for Cabarrus County Schools.  I love math & am excited to be team teaching with Mrs. Atwell. We are going to learn so much this year!

When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my 5-year-old daughter Reagan, doing crafts, cooking, going for ice cream, & playing outdoors. Please reach out to me any time you need to this year and I will be more than happy to help!
