Hi! My name is Maria Acosta and I am so excited to be your teacher this year! I grew up in Pennsylvania. My family consists of my  two brothers, Brandon and Jonathan, and sister-in-law, Hailey. My Mom, Dad and golden retriever, Molly, are very important to me. I have a labrador retriever named Stella. I love and value my family so much that I strive for my classroom to have a similar feeling.

I graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2018 with my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and received a M.ed. in Educational Leadership in 2022. I am eager to start the 3rd grade journey!

Just like you, I am excited and nervous all in one. All I ask of you is to give your 100% effort and 100% respect each day. I look forward to learning and growing together! I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you will bring to our classroom family! ☺
