Dear Parents,

I am so excited to introduce myself to you as your child’s 1st grade teacher. I’d like to take a little time to tell you about myself:

I attended the University of Mount Olive and majored in Elementary Education, as well as minored in English. This is my fifth year teaching and my first year at Wolf Meadow. I am excited to be a part of the pack!

I am a native of Oriental, NC, located on the coast. I moved to the Concord area when I got married three years ago.

A few of my favorite things are the beach,
dark chocolate, and a good book! 

As a teacher, it is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I look forward to
helping your child continue to grow and succeed this school year. I believe it is important to
keep communication open between us and I would love to talk to you whenever you feel the
need!
