Welcome to Mrs. Whitley's class!

  

I have been teaching since 1994. I began teaching in Cabarrus County in 1995 and I have been here ever since! I received my pin for 25 years of service this year.  I live in Concord with my family and our dog, Tucker.  Our son is a junior at Western Carolina University and our daughter lives in Florida. Since we are "empty nesters" now, our dog gets a lot of our attention. I enjoy sitting outside in our hammocks or by our firepit on cool evenings. I am looking forward to working with your child this year. This will be a great year of fun and learning in 3rd grade!
